Answer In the RTCC register it is only necessary to set bit 3 to “1” to activate the LVD function. In the HT49 series of devices the LVD voltage is set to be between the range 3.0V to 3.6V. When the battery voltage falls below this range, bit 5 of the RTCC register will be set to “1” which indicates a low battery condition. However it should be noted that this function cannot be emulated in the MCU tools.
