In the Aetna Select 1 and Aetna Select 2 plans, where can I go for lab work and what is my cost?
In the Aetna Select Open Access network, (Aetna Select 1 and Aetna Select 2), you must go to Quest Diagnostics for routine lab work. You may also use the Integrated Regional Laboratory (IRL) located at the University of Miami Hospital (UMH) for routine lab work. Lab work performed at these locations are covered at 100 percent. You may also be referred by a University of Miami Medical Group physician to the University of Miami Specialty Labs for non routine lab work and pre-operative laboratory procedures. These specialty labs are covered at 100%.
