In terms of number of ships, who has the 4th largest navy??
The USA has the largest Naval fleet in the world, followed surprisingly by the UK. Naval ability is ranked according to power projection, and the UK having 2 operating aircraft carriers, substantial numbers of large scale landing craft capable of spitting out troops and tanks and 13 nuclear submarines is able to project it’s power faster and farther than any other country, bar the USA. The UK is followed by Russia in 3rd and France in 4th, followed by China. The USA, Uk, Russia and France are the only countries in the world able to afford to build, operate and replace (when required) it’s aircraft carriers.
