In terms of image quality and size, is there any difference between TSI-880 and TSI-440?

No, on stored images, Yes, on processing of cloud cover. Images are stored as JPEG files. However, prior to processing the TSI-440 has to work on the JPEG compressed images and these images are color-table compressed. The TSI-880 processes raw uncompressed imager data prior to processing and does a better job under hazy conditions. Once the data are processed, the archived JPEG data files are similar in size.
