In spite of paying the fees and the deposit, why would a student receive an email stating that it has not been received?

Our computer system is at times faster than our human processing. If a student has just recently submitted a payment via a check or money order, we may not have processed it yet. The student should wait for it to be posted online on the Account History portion of the student’s account. After the check/money order has been received, it usually takes us 24-48 hours to post this information online. If it has been more than 2 weeks since a student sent in a payment, the student should call us to verify that we have indeed received the payment. If the payment was made online with a credit card, the transaction should post to the student’s account immediately, If you suspect an error in this process, or receive any notification that the deposit has not been received, please call us as soon as possible to verify that we have received the payment.
