SANITARY BACKUPS: DPW is responsible for the village sanitary sewer main. Residents are responsible for the home/building drain, up to and including, the connection to the village sanitary sewer main. If you are expericencing a sanitary back up, call the Department of Public Works at 708-503-7702 to report the back up. We will verify if there is a blockage in the Public Sanitary Main and remove the blockage. If it appears to be a homeowner issue, you will be notified that a Park Forest licensed contractor is required to further investigate your back up. You will be transferred to the Building Department for a list if licensed and bonded contractors. COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF LEAVES: DPW is responsible for the collection and disposal of leaves that naturally fall onto Village streets.
