In reference to Appendix V Adequate Proportion Percentages, can we include Day Services under Category of Service/In-Home Services?
A Yes. Appendix V and the Area Plan Budget have been amended to include Day Care as a respite service for families. Day Care may include Adult Day Health Care or Alzheimer’s Day Care. However, the AAA retains discretion over funding the allocation of funds based on the local planning process, needs assessment, and public hearings.
