In pokemon pearl, when do you see the ev stats change?
The stats change when you level up only, not after beating a pokemon. When levelling up, all stats for that Pokemon will total up. But you can also change the stats by using some items on your Pokemon outside of battle – For example, a Protein will increase the attack stat while a Zinc will increase the special defense stat. The is also Carbos for speed, Iron for defense and Calcium for special attack. You can find these items lying around or buy them at the Veilstone Department Store. A Pokemon’s stats also depend on the nature. Say a Pokemon, eg: a Pikachu, has a brave nature, it would have a higher attack stat than other Pikachus on the same level.
