In plain English, how would I use VoIP in a pratical sense?
Once you have purchased a VoIP service all you need do is visit our Web Portal, enter your login and password, click on the “webphone” link, plug in your headphone / microphone headset. Enter the number you wish to dial. Talk. That is it. You can progress later to an Analogue Telephone Adapter and use your normal phone if and when you want but in a nutshell that is how easy it can be to use. As long as you are logged in you will also receive calls on your computer. There are many other ways that you can use your VoIP service but this is the most basic and normally avoids firewall issues.
