In Pagan teachings, Which element represents understanding,stability, and integration?
The Earth; rather the Mother Earth, the element of earth is the element which represents stability, which then corresponds with the aspects of understanding and integration. Fire is about passion, Air about the journey, and water about the fluidity of life. Yet through all of these three, the element of earth, rock, and stone are the essences of the foundation of all the other three; the earth is the one element that lends stability to all the others, and on whose foundation all the others are built upon. Without the element of earth or the spirit of the Earth Mother, none of the other three could exist.
