Zitrec S is quite a unique product in that it consists of a matrix of potassium formate and sodium propionate. The ratio of these salts change with varying freezing points. As a consequence, Zitrec S exists actually out of 2 base-products : Zitrec S-10C and Zitrec S -55C. All intermediate freezing points can be blended out of these 2 base-products. The concentration data in Prozit are therefore always expressed as concentrations of Zitrec S -10C. The remaining is not water (as with the other Zitrec products), but must be Zitrec S-55C.
