In Outlook 2003 there is a parenthetical line right next to the Inbox header that you should be able to drop down and re-choose “Two-Line View”. Alternately (of if you upgrade to Outlook 2007), you can go into the toolbar at VIEW -> Current View -> Customize Current View, Click the [Other Settings] button, towards the bottom of the box is a checkbox and value for “Use compact layout in widths smaller than [ ] characters. I think it defaults to 80. Either up the minimum or uncheck the box altogether and you should be back to two-line display again! Best of luck!
