In order to establish a new assessed value, did OPAC inspect every property?

0

No. Since OPAC already has information about each property in Ontario on its database, it is not necessary to inspect every property. Although an assessor may not have inspected a specific property, they used the sales of similar properties in the neighbourhood to establish what the property would have been worth on June 30, 1999. There may, however, be some factors they were not aware of which affect a value. If an owner feels their value is incorrect, he or she should contact their local OPAC office to discuss the matter.
