Finch Avenue West currently has two through lanes of traffic in both directions for most of its length. The exception is between Jane Street and Weston Road where there are three through lanes in each direction. This capacity will generally be retained with the LRT. From Jane Street to the CP tracks east of Weston Road three lanes of traffic will be provided in each direction to handle traffic volumes to and from Highway 400.
