In opening credits for the second half of season 2, you see a clip of Chandler jumping into Joeys arms. What episode did that come from?
In a Warner Bros. Friends Newsletter (June 28 or 29, 2001), a representative of the show said this: “From time to time we shoot something on the stage that has to be cut out of the show for time (NBC has a time format we have to adhere to) and our editors don’t like to see great shots like that one on the editing room floor.” I have been trying to identify from which episode this was cut. It has been speculated that this was some alternate footage from The One After the Superbowl, Part 1, where Joey and Chandler are frightened by the arrival of Joey’s stalker. However, I checked that scene on DVD and Joey and Chandler are dressed differently than in this clip. In fact, I’ve checked all of season 2 leading up to that point, and never found scenes where they had on those clothes.
