In Mississippi, are truck drivers (people who drive 18 wheelers) limited in the number of hours they can drive?
There is a Federal Hours of Service that allows a driver to drive 11 hours in a 24 hour period. You are only allowed to work 14 hours and the 11 hours driving must be within that 14 hour period. You then must take a 10 hour break before resuming your driving duties. Any other information you may need can be found at the Federal DOT website.
