In looking at the 2007-2008 Payday calendar, I see that there are only 25 pay days from July 2007- June 2008. I thought we were supposed to have 26?
A.4. You are correct in that within the fiscal year 2007-2008, proper, there are only 25 scheduled pay dates. The 26th pay period ends on June 29, 2008, and under our lagging schedule, the pay will be issued with a pay date of July 3, 2008. Each year will slightly fluctuate with the calendar. In one future year, you will receive 27 pay dates within a fiscal year. You must view the schedule within the context of being paid every two weeks, not annually.
