In Lone Wolf and Cub, why is everyone left-handed?
If you take a look at the credits page at the beginning of the book, you’ll see a line at the bottom that states “This book is printed in “mirror-image” format to conform to American comics-reading standards.” There was simply no way possible that we could have produced 300+ pages of Lone Wolf and Cub (and kept the price reasonable) a month if we would have cut and pasted the panels instead of mirroring them. We do cut and paste panels in some if our other manga (like Blade of the Immortal) but that’s much easier and cost effective for a 32 page book. First Comics was able to flop their version of LW&C for that same reason.
