In Light My Fire, Aisling is proscribed for using a dark power. What exactly is this dark power?
Dark power represents the darkness that exists in everyone, manifested in a form of energy. “Good” beings in the Otherworld can and have used it for good purposes, but it poses an enormous temptation to people, and a very real risk, which is why the Otherworld organizations prohibit its use except under special circumstances.
