Get this.. You will look back on this in 5 years and remember that I am right…ok, maybe not, but here goes. I was the biggest loser in high school. I was teased for wearing my pants too high and having frizzy hair. I had friends (best friends) but we were NOT in the “in crowd”… Well, 8 years later I am getting married to the love of my life, in law school at the top of my class and I could not be happier. My other friends are in nursing school, travelling the world and owning their own business. We are all so happy. The people who teased me, last I heard one was in rehab for drugs, the others didn’t graduate from high school and the other died 2 years ago after their drove their car drunk into a house. So, this story might seem like boasting, but my point is: THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO LIFE THAN HIGH SCHOOL. High school means nothing in terms of the person you will become. Also, I think it’s great you are proud of yourself. It shows real character and strength! High school sucks!
