In general, what signal should be used for MPO verification?
A swept pure tone rather than a broadband signal should be used due to spectral density. In simple terms, a 90 dB SPL swept pure tone will deliver 90 dB at the frequency of interest, whilst for a broad band signal the energy will typically be spread across 1/3 octave and resulting response may be up to 30 dB less.
