In FSX, what is a good cruising height for the Boeing 747-400?
A good cruising altitude for the Boeing 747-400 depends on how much it weighs, which depends on how much fuel it is carrying at a given time. I’m pretty sure that the default 747 in FSX is regular 747-400, not the 747-400ER. Only the -400ER has the range to fly from Sydney to Los Angeles. However, I could be wrong, as the plane is not 100% realistic, like the PMDG 747-400.
