In family day care schemes, will carers be visited in Spot Checks?
During Spot Checks in family day care schemes, the Validator will visit the coordination unit and at least one carer. Where possible two carers or one carer and a play session may be visited. All carers working on the day of the Spot Check are eligible to be visited. Can Vacation Care services receive a Spot Check? Vacation Care services can receive a Spot Check. If it is a multi-site vacation care service, two sites may be visited during the Spot Check.
