In Egypt. Is the veil required to wear by Muslim females and do a lot of women wear the veil?
it is not mandatory in egypt as in some countries like iran, however its a cultural issue and depends pretty much on the family how traditional they are etc. in my answer to yr other question i said that i have friends married to egyptians some of them wear it some dont, some wear it inegypt but not in the uk so everyone is different.
