In Doctor Who, Silence in the Library – who was Dr. River Song?
The first time The Doctor met her (in the library) was also the last time she saw him. After she dies, he will sometime go on to meet her for the second time, when she meets him for the first. The blue book contains details of the Doctor’s life from when she was with him and traveling with the 11th (maybe even the 12th or 13th) Doctor. The 10th Doctor can’t look at it or he could damage the timelines, or at least the fun of traveling. People have seen scenes being filmed with Matt Smith (The 11th Doctor) and Alex Kingston (River Song) It’s been rumored that she’s his future wife. Director Russel T Davies describes her as “one of the most important characters we’ve seen in the series”, and The Doctor says something like “You know my name, there’s only one time I could tell somebody my name” which could refer to a wedding.
