The Initial Public Offering date (IPO Date) displayed in Daily Graphs Online® is maintained in the William O’Neil + Co., Inc. Database. Many stocks trading on the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ exchanges did not originally have Initial Public Offerings. Some stocks began trading due to a spin-off, some were switched to a major exchange from the Bulletin Board or Over-the-Counter exchanges and some had stock trading in foreign markets prior to their listing with the U.S. exchanges.
