Select the Status menu to see possible errors and make sure you’ve entered your COM port settings correctly. For a detailed explanation of RS232 connections and communications, see the “Understanding RS232” topic in comDebug’s on-line Help. You might also find our RS232 tutorial helpful. Another possibility is that you have not entered any instructions that your instrument requires before it will send a reply.
