Yes and No. County maintained and main paved roads require you to have a street plate and that means meeting our MVD requirements for equipment. This is also true for the Prescott Forest. The Flagstaff Coconino FS has started posting “must be street legal” signs on selected FS routes, both paved and unpaved, to help clarify this issue.
