In Analyst, Why does the “Beginning and Ending Dive Statistics” screen reflect my “Beginning Entered or Computed FO2” as 21.0% instead of the mix that I entered?
The “Beginning and Ending Dive Statistics” screen will reflect the surface mix as 21.0%. Once you enter your dive, the computer will switch and read the correct mix that is entered. This can be verified by the “View This Dives Profile” screen, which is accessed through the “View Dive Statistics” tab, as it will show the “Normal Nitrox Blend” for that particular dive. The switching can also be verified through the “View Profiles Graph” tab by clicking on the “02 %” tab. Once you enter the dive, the computer will show when it switched to the FO2 mode.
