The board of management has overall responsibility to maintain regular communication with the staff team. There should be regular meetings to make decisions and delegate responsibilities; receive reports and make recommendations as well as to retain ongoing dialogue with the Manager/Supervisor. They are responsible fro the smooth running of the organisation and it is essential that trustees take this seriously.
