In Amazon.coms catalog, it looks like some of the Don Camillo books have recently been or are due to be re-issued. What can you tell me about that?

Well, only a little. The “in print & in stock” items in Amazon’s catalog are not new editions of the Don Camillo books; they are facsimile reprints of the old ones, brought out by “Ameron” (a New York-based company specializing in this sort of thing). Typically only a small number of copies are made in each print run, but I was told (by a chap who did it) that in 2001 you could get all six English-language DC books in Ameron editions.
