In all seriousness, could alien abductions be real?
Yeah, the possibility is there, but I think it’s highly unlikely. Though there is some evidence that says otherwise. I don’t know what to think about this, honestly. Highly intelligent extraterrestrials abducting insignificant human beings with the intelligence of rodents in comparison to their (the ETs) intelligence. I really don’t understand. I think it’s bull. I’ve read a lot of abduction cases, and although some of them are really convincing, they also have major flaws. The only semi-convincing abduction case is the Betty and Barney Hill abduction. And that’s only because the star map has not been properly debunked yet. I don’t know. I guess we’ll know the truth when we meet real extraterrestrials.
Actually many animals sleep a lot more than humans. Lions, for example, sleep over 20 hours a day. Bears sleep for whole seasons at a time. However, sleep is quite overrated. We are told we need 8 hours, and we get in the habit of 8 hours, but actually sleep patterns are more a matter of habit and routine than a matter of necessity. In times of war, for example, whole groups of soldiers can survive on less than 4 hours of sleep a day for months. Alien abductions are not very likely. In fact, its something like 10 billion to 1(at best) that another civilization in this universe would ever find us. I’ve broken down the math in previous questions, but it really comes down to this. If an alien civilization matured 10,000 years ago, they would have ignored our planet, as there was no civilization advanced enough to communicate with them. 10,000 years from now we would find them. Out of billions of years, their civilization would have to mature to intergalactic communication level within abo
