The pearl shortener is 16.5mm long by 8.5mm wide with the diameter of the openings at about 5.5mm. Since the shortener sits between the pearls, it can accommodate pearls that are up to 9.5mm and as small as 6mm. Any pearls that are larger than the 9.5mm may be too large to fit in this shortener but if you have a strand of pearls in a larger size, you can let me know the size and I’ll be happy to test it out on a strand here in our office. The pearl clip is 24.5mm x 19mm (about 1-inch long) and is a great piece for your Torsade pieces or for those particularly long strands.
