You can expect a thorough analysis of all the elements of your novel: characterization, viewpoint, background, scene development, central conflict, plot, and subplots. In addition, you can expect practical, specific, easy-to-understand suggestions about how to strengthen areas that need work. I like to show by example, bringing in excerpts from your manuscript to illustrate the points I’m making and rewriting some of those excerpts in order to show you how to correct problems.
