In addition to the DR.MAGGIE™ Extra Strength Formula, is there a regular strength product?
Originally, there were 2 forms of the product in development – DR.MAGGIE™ Joint Formula with Glucosamine HCl, and Vitamin C; and the Extra Strength version, with Chondroitin added. However, when we saw the remarkable results that were achieved with the Extra Strength version, we became convinced that we would be doing our customers and their suffering animals a disservice by offering a product that did not offer optimal results. Moreover we found that by adding chondroitin, the dose could be cut in half after an initial treatment period of about a month. At the reduced dose, there was no price difference between the 2 products. In further researching the effects of chondroitin we found that recent studies indicate that it not only suppresses the breakdown of cartilage, slowing the progression of degenerative joint disease, but it may actually be more important than glucosamine in reducing pain from arthritis.
