In a nutshell, what is the process for applying for the award?

• You use the Baldrige criteria to conduct an organizational self assessment and make improvements based on your findings. • You write an application (this takes significant time and effort) and send it in (due in May). • You receive a feedback report from Baldrige that identifies your strengths and opportunities for improvement. • You improve your organization by addressing your opportunities for improvement, and then apply again. • When your application scores high enough, you will receive a site visit from a group of Baldrige examiners in the fall. They will ask your employees hundreds of questions to assess whether your organization performs as advertised in your application. • If you score high enough, you could win the award!
