In a democratic society, such as the U.S. where Muslims represent a small minority, do Muslims have a significant role to play?
Muslims have a historic role to play! The Muslim American community includes a relatively high percentage of educated members. Muslim Americans have consistently shown their willingness to commit resources towards good causes in this country and abroad. Despite our short history in this society, the achievements of the Muslim American community have been very impressive indeed. Muslim Americans are in a unique position to realign the path of the American society back to the original moral values upon which this country was founded. MACCA believes that Muslim Americans are in a better position than other groups to shine the light of truth, fairness, and ethics on the issues that will shape the future of the world.
