The Department recognizes landowner concerns with poaching and trespass and Missouri has existing laws in place to address these issues. Missouri Law (RSMo 578.520) states that individuals knowingly trespassing while hunting, fishing or trapping shall be guilty of a Class B misdemeanor and may have their hunting, fishing and trapping privileges revoked by the Conservation Commission for at least one year from the date of conviction.
