Importing contacts from Entourage takes too long. Why?
Labels & Addresses uses AppleScript to import data from Entourage and other contact managers. This technology is slow in itself, so importing a large number of contacts takes time. For this reason, Labels & Addresses caches the imported data. The next time you launch Labels & Addresses and choose “Entourage” as the source of contacts, Labels & Addresses will show the contacts stored in the cache. If you have a list of contacts that doesn’t change a lot, this method should work all right, but you will need to re-import the information if you modify the file. To do this, click the Update button in the Source panel.
