Do not use the project feature in AVR Studio. Use our IDE to manage and build your project. Use AVR Studio to open either the COFF file or HEX output file produced by ICCAVR. Opening the COFF file will give you full source level symbolic debugging. Newer versions of the AVR Studio generally provide more features and you must select the correct version of the AVR Studio you are using under ICCAVR’s Project->Options->Compiler dialog box.
