Did Christopher Eccleston actually quit? I’ve heard about typecasting, but I also read something where the BBC breached an agreement of some sorts? I’m a U.S. viewer and Chris’s doctor was the first version I’d ever seen. I quite enjoyed his portrayal and was disappointed to see he left after his only season. Thanks for any help.
