Im using a Sony Cli device with the silkscreen virtual Graffiti area feature; why does this area of my handheld display different colors when Im in the DataViewer program?
The reason for the discoloration is due to different color table requirements between hardware displays. Some older Sony Cli devices use an 8-bit display, while newer models use 16-bit display. We had to create a custom color table in our software coding solely for 8-bit devices in order for our graphics to look presentable. This custom color table overwrites the default color table while you are in DataViewer, which causes the discoloration of the silkscreen virtual Graffiti area. This does not affect usability or functionality in any way.
