Im trying to download Vlingo but getting an error saying Sorry, but Vlingo does not yet support your device or operating system. What should I do?
• Assuming that you are trying to download to a BlackBerry that Vlingo does support (most trackball-equipped devices except the push-to-talk 8350i), there are a couple of possible causes. First, you need to use your BlackBerry’s built-in browser to download Vlingo. Vlingo will not download properly using any other browser. Also your browser must be set to use Internet Browser emulation. To check this setting, do the following: • Open your BlackBerry’s built-in browser (do not use any other browser). • Cleck Menu -> Options -> General Properties. • Find the Default Browser parameter and set it to Internet Browser. • Click Menu -> Save Options. • Now click Browser Configuration. • Set the Browser parameter (it should be at the top) to Internet Browser, if it isn’t already. • Scroll down to Emulation Mode and set this to BlackBerry. • Click Menu -> Save Options.
