Im transcribing a handwritten addition which has a page number “see Dec 34”. How do I handle the fact that WinBMD will not allow me to type the apostrophe after the “Dec”?
Type an apostrophe character ‘ in another field (e.g. forename) in WinBMD. Select the character using the mouse (click just before the character and, holding the mouse button down, drag the cursor over the character). Press Ctrl+X to copy and remove the character. Place the cursor in the appropriate place in the page number field and press Ctrl+V to paste the character.
