Unfortunately the Council doesnt have enough resources to send out an officer to every enquiry but if you telephone 01942 828142 or write to us and explain the type of business you wish to set up, we will send out an information pack to help you. You will need to complete and send in a food registration form, which will be included in the pack, 28 days before you open. There is no charge for this registration. An OSR1 form is included in the pack which you will also need to complete and return if you have employees, not close relatives, who work, in total, more than 21 hours per week. If you have any specific queries after reading the information package please telephone on 01942 828142. You should also check with The Councils Planning and Development Department to see if you need planning permission or building control regulation approval.
