Download an FTP client such as FileZilla (free open source) at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla/ and install it. Open FileZilla and click the upper-left icon to open the Site Manager. Click the New Site button and give it a name. Click into the Host box and type: transfer.chemeketa.edu Make sure the Port is set to: 21 Servertype: FTP Logontype: Normal User: ccc\student Password: offsite Click the Advanced… button and enter: /Wintermeyer (or your instructor’s last name) into the Default Remote Directory box. OK Click Connect. This should connect you and show you both your instructor’s Inbox and Outbox. Note: Once you’ve uploaded something to the Inbox, you cannot retrieve it or delete it – only the instructor can do that.
