WinKey is password protected. After installation, you can enter the properties screen of WinKey and set an admin password, and set the program to load at startup. Once you have done this, you MUST have the password in order to disable the program. WinKey will not allow you to use Ctrl-Alt-Del* either, or Alt-Tab to cycle between apps. Once you turn WinKey Disabler on, there’s no way someone can reboot your computer. Q: I’m running a game that uses DirectX and WinKey disabler doesn’t work! I still get interrupted when I hit the windows key. A: Important notice about WinKey Disabler and DirectX! If you are running a full screen app which uses DirectX 7.0, the WinKey functions will not work! We are currently working on a solution, and will post it here as soon as it becomes available. This does not affect apps which are not run in full screen.
