Any new wells must be constructed according to current regulations. Please contact the Division of Environmental Health / Public Water Supply Section for information on construction requirements for public water supply wells or the Division of Water Quality / Groundwater Section for construction requirements for any other supply well. The old well must be properly abandoned in accordance with Division of Water Quality / Groundwater Section regulations.
