Im planning on closing my kennel, what do I need to do?
Any kennel wishing to close must complete the Kennel Closing Application to start the closing process, and have a dog warden perform a closing inspection. Im planning on closing my kennel sometime in 2009, do I still need to fill out an application? Yes. All kennels are required to maintain a current kennel license until the day they cease kennel operations. Otherwise, the kennel is considered unlicensed kennel and is subject to fines up to $1,000 per day.
