I’m participating in a university activity and will have to stay after the halls close or return early before they officially open. What do I have to do?
Your coach or group advisor must contact the Housing and Residence Life Office to verify the necessity of the stay and will need to provide a roster to the office. You will need to see your residence hall director before the hall closes – deadlines for such requests are publicized when closing information is distributed. You will sign a statement that explains security and other conditions for staying in the hall, and staff will authorize your CalCard to be activated to give you access to the hall.
